Mr. Charles (Sandy) Zander has been in the grocery industry since 1956, and he and his children, Brenda, Michael, Chuck, and grandson, Charlie, have been managing Union Square since 1987. We're known for our ethnic mix in specialty foods. We offer an extensive selection in our Hot Food and Deli, and our daily luncheon specials, made from scratch, are popular items. Everyday you'll find our roasted or fried chicken, and fried fish on Fridays make for fast and delicious meals. We cut only the best USDA Choice beef in our meat department.. At Union Square our specialties include the creation of sandwich rings, meat and cheese trays and made to order deli trays, as well as our own Chorizo sausage -- a people-pleaser! Be sure to visit our on-site bakery for scrumptious sweets, breads and rolls. You'll find a wide selection of beer and wine plus all your favorite items in our produce and dairy departments.
